The development of the ONYX Residences completed the Baton Rouge Arts Block. In the 1950s, ONYX was the home of Rider’s Jewelry Store. After the store closed, the building sat vacant for three decades. Onyx consists of 27 urban apartments designed for young professional. The addition of Onyx allows more people to live downtown, continuing the area’s revitalization.
